I am proud to be a Singaporean and grateful to live in a safe and peaceful country, as I was reminded while watching the NE Show. I can play my part by keeping Singapore clean and safe. I will also do my best to be eco-friendly, for example, by riding a bicycle or travelling in an electric car when moving from place to place. I hope Singapore will become even more united, with everyone working together to build our Lion City. Together, we can make Singapore the best country!

After experiencing this year’s NE Show, I can say that it was definitely a pleasant experience watching it together with my classmates. As a Primary 5 student in Singapore, I can contribute by keeping my surroundings clean and helping the elderly, for example, by offering them my seat on public transport. A simple, kind act can make a big difference—like an endless ripple—because people are inspired by others to be kind. I can also help shape Singapore’s future by teaching and inspiring the younger ones to be well-mannered and kind, so that they can grow to become better versions of themselves. I hope for my country to remain drug-free, filled with helpful and kind people, and for us to continue maintaining our cleanliness. The NE Show has made me feel proud of my country as we celebrate SG60, and I truly enjoyed celebrating with everyone at the Padang.
