EOY Mass and Nativity Play
Our school celebrated the Nativity with a joyful Mass, performances, and festive activities centred on the theme "Pilgrims of Hope." The celebration reminded students of the true meaning of Christmas and the call to share God's love with others.
Pilgrims of Hope: A Joyful Nativity Celebration
Our school’s Nativity celebration this year was centred on the Jubilee Year 2025 theme, Pilgrims of Hope. The day began meaningfully with the celebration of Mass, followed by a heartwarming skit performed by our Primary 6 students, alongside lively songs and dances by our Primary 1 and 2 students.
The skit beautifully retold the story of Jesus’ birth as a journey of hope. Through the faith of Mary and Joseph, the joyful witness of the shepherds, and the steadfast journey of the wise men, students were reminded that even in uncertain times, God’s light shines brightly. The message was clear and uplifting — we are all called to be Pilgrims of Hope, trusting in God and sharing His love with others.
The celebration continued with a range of engaging activities across levels. Our younger students expressed gratitude through colouring and writing wishes and notes of thanks, while others created festive decorations, such as fan angels and enjoyed Christmas-themed games. The older students showcased their creativity through intricate Perler bead ornaments.
A special extended recess added to the festive spirit, giving students time to bond and explore activities such as making Christmas stars, taking part in Nativity-themed Kahoot quizzes, and viewing a delightful toy exhibition created by their peers.
It was truly a day filled with joy, creativity, and hope — a wonderful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
