Start-of-year Orientation
Our Start-of-Year Orientation Programme welcomed students back through engaging activities that strengthened teacher–student and peer relationships. The programme fostered a sense of belonging and laid a strong foundation for a positive and successful school year.
The school year began on a vibrant and welcoming note with our Start-of-Year Orientation Programme for all Primary 1 to Primary 6 students. Carefully planned to ease students into the new academic year, the programme focused on strengthening teacher–student relationships (TSR) and student–student relationships (SSR), setting a positive tone for the months ahead.
Students across all levels participated in a wide range of engaging activities tailored to their age groups. From energetic netball sessions to creative storytelling and lively mass dances, each activity was designed to encourage interaction, teamwork, and mutual understanding. Laughter and enthusiasm filled the school as students connected with their teachers and peers in meaningful ways beyond the classroom.
These shared experiences provided valuable opportunities for students to learn more about one another, build trust, and develop a sense of belonging within their classes. Teachers also gained deeper insights into their students’ personalities and strengths, helping to create a supportive learning environment.
The orientation programme laid a strong foundation for a positive school culture, where relationships are nurtured and every student feels valued. With these connections established, students are now well-prepared to embark on a fulfilling and successful year ahead.
